R series Holden stroker kit featuring Scat 4340 forged crank, Callies Compstar 5.85″ connecting rods and forged custom JE SRP 10cc dish pistons with rings included, ACL race series main and big end bearings. The perfect place to start your build if you want to push your Holden to its limits, our customers seeing north of 700HP with these kits.

We have carefully selected a top of the range parts combination, with emphasis on keeping rotating elements as close to the crank shaft centerline as possible with our R series 383 kits to significantly reduce the interference of internal rotating parts and the engine block. These 383 kits used in later 304 style blocks VR onwards barely need any clearancing at all.

starting from approximately 10.2:1 in VN onwards series cylinder heads (66cc) and 11.0:1 in early series heads (59cc) requires balancing by your machine shop.
